Cole Brown Estates is Southern Maine's premiere 55+ active retirement community that is conveniently located in Eliot, Maine. All homes are manufactured homes and are 28 feet wide. They are vinyl sided with architectural shingles and attached garages. These homes are highly efficient and tastefully appointed. All home sites are situated in a wooded location, and lots range from 6,700 to 24,000 square feet. This community is served by city water and sewer and is metered individually to each home site and is paid by the resident.
Community management will maintain the streets, sidewalks, area lighting, recreation area, weekly curbside rubbish removal and clubhouse which is all included in your home site lease. Also included in the lease is mowing lawns, driveway and sidewalk snow removal, spring and fall clean up, and mulching of landscaped areas. As of January 1, 2024, the lot lease, which includes the maintenance package, is currently priced at $620.00 per month.
The home and garage are owned by the Resident, all permanent improvements to the lot are owned by the community management and property taxes are computed accordingly.
